The €2bn Limerick-Cork M20 motorway, Ireland's first to adopt distance-based tolls, will include cycle lanes and six transport hubs encouraging motorists to use alternatives to cars and diesel. The 80km motorway project, an investment priority for the Government's national development plan, aims to improve connectivity between the two cities and reduce journey times by 30 minutes.
