Armed militants in Russia's Dagestan republic attacked two Orthodox churches, a synagogue, and a police post, killing a priest and six police officers. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee confirmed the "terrorist" attacks. Dagestan's Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the attackers targeted a synagogue and a church in the city of Derbent, and the assailants were armed and dressed in black.
