Kelowna fire crews extinguished a small contents fire in a garage on Ivans Court after a neighbour noticed black smoke and called emergency services. The neighbour was able to get the door code from the homeowners to enter the garage. No one was home and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire, while not considered suspicious, is still under investigation.
