Karnataka's government increases Nandini milk price by Rs 2 per liter, adding 50ml, to aid KMF.

Karnataka's government has revised milk prices by Rs 2 in the state, with an additional 50 ml of milk added to each packet. The decision is to avoid losses for the KMF. The most popular blue packet of 1 litre of Nandini milk will now cost Rs 44, up from Rs 42. This marks the second increase in less than a year. The KMF will soon start receiving 1 crore litres of milk from farmers, which will help offset the losses incurred in producing milk powder.
