India's top 25 private aerospace and defense companies project a 20% revenue growth to Rs 13,500 crore in FY25 due to higher government spending and private sector participation.
CRISIL Ratings reports that India's top 25 private aerospace and defense companies are projected to achieve a 20% revenue growth to Rs 13,500 crore in FY25, mainly due to higher government spending and private sector participation. Operating margins are expected to rise by 50-60 basis points, driven by revenue growth, economies of scale, and better fixed cost absorption. The revenue share of private players has increased in the defense sector, thanks to liberalization in defense equipment manufacturing and enhanced transparency in bidding guidelines.
