Fort Mitchell Police Department receives a new K-9 officer, Gunny, a 14-month-old German Shepherd from Hungary, through a donation by Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders. The donation comes at a crucial time as the new medical marijuana law in Kentucky forces other K-9s to retire. Gunny was purchased with funds recovered from drug dealers and has been trained not to smell marijuana.
