Exxon Mobil signs a non-binding agreement with SK On, a South Korean EV battery maker, to potentially supply lithium from its proposed Arkansas project. The multi-year deal could involve up to 100,000 metric tons of lithium. SK On plans to use the lithium for making EV batteries in the U.S., aiming to strengthen battery supply chains in the U.S. and support Exxon's ambition to supply raw materials for about 1 million electric vehicle batteries per year by 2030.
