The DND and Canadian Armed Forces fund support services for sexual misconduct victims via nine community providers across Canada.
The Department of National Defence and Canadian Armed Forces prioritize access to support services for Defence community members affected by sexual misconduct. The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre funds nine community-based service providers for 11 new projects, providing crisis management, counselling, support groups, and increased victim services across Canada, with projects in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario, British Columbia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Nova Scotia.
