The initiative aims to generate renewable energy to power 127 municipal buildings, reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Pending approval by the City Council, the first three neighborhoods to receive solar arrays are Gratiot-Findlay, Van Dyke-Lynch, and the State Fair neighborhoods.
