32-yr-old Stephanie Heaps, who worked as a prison officer and later as a Bolton district police officer, committed crimes with her prisoner partner Leon Ramsden, 35, while employed at both institutions. Ramsden, jailed in 2010, had access to a mobile phone in prison, which he used to message Heaps. Heaps asked to be based in the Bolton area after joining Greater Manchester Police to be near Ramsden's family.
