50-year-old Wayne Whitney, a Standish resident, sustained severe injuries after his car crashed into several trees along the shore of Perley Pond in Sebago on Sunday morning. The accident occurred on Folly Road, and Whitney, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was found unresponsive in his vehicle. Fire and EMS personnel extracted him and transported him to Maine Medical Center for treatment.
