22-year-old NBA player Scottie Barnes, the 2021 fourth overall pick from Florida State, has agreed to a five-year maximum rookie extension worth up to $270 million with the Toronto Raptors. The deal begins in the 2025-26 season after Barnes completes the final year of his rookie deal for $10.1 million this season. Barnes' contract will make him the highest-paid player in Raptors history and becomes official on July 6.
