Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe reiterated the country's support for a separate Palestinian state to be established within five years. Despite Sri Lanka's current economic struggles, generous public contributions collected a million dollars for the Gaza Children's Fund. Wickremesinghe made these statements during a special service in Kattankudy, eastern province, for the affected people of Gaza.
