China-Europe freight trains are growing in popularity among exporters, particularly those shipping home appliances. This is due to the risks of component corrosion during maritime transport and the high cost of airfreight. In the first four months of 2024, the number of China-Europe freight train services increased by 10% year-on-year to 6,184 trips, with 675,000 20-foot equivalent units of goods transported.
