Noida International Airport, slated for commercial operations in December 2024, has delayed its deadline to April 2025 due to construction delays. The airport, developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited, a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, is expected to handle 9.4-11.7 million passengers in its first year. The project initially commenced on October 1, 2021, with a concession period of 40 years.
