A new market study recommends Nebraska could support additional quarter horse tracks, with nearly 80,000 quarter horses in the state outnumbering those in Iowa and New Mexico. The study also suggests developing infrastructure, purse awards, and breeding funds to support the horse racing industry's expansion.
