iFixit awards Microsoft's Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 high repairability scores of 8/10, a significant improvement from previous devices. Microsoft simplifies replacing internal components without disassembling the entire device, and makes service manuals publicly available. The new devices offer easy-to-remove batteries, removable and upgradeable storage, and printed disassembly markings.
