£330m A30 dual carriageway in Cornwall, delayed 4 years, now open before summer tourist rush.
The £330m dual carriageway on the A30 in Cornwall, delayed for four years, has now opened. The dualling scheme between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross had been anticipated to open at the end of March, but has been completed, opening for traffic before the summer tourist rush. Although the A30 is now open, work remains on local roads and structures to close down the site and complete the project.
