Lo'eau LaBonta scored twice in the first half as the Kansas City Current beat the Portland Thorns 4-1, remaining undefeated in the National Women's Soccer League. The Current now have an unbeaten record of 9-0-5, matching the NWSL record set by the Seattle Reign in 2014. Temwa Chawinga and Stine Ballisager also scored for the Current, who have remained undefeated in 16 games since last year.
