Japanese firms MinebeaMitsumi and Yokohama Rubber invest P7.4B to expand operations in the Philippines.
Two Japanese firms, MinebeaMitsumi and Yokohama Rubber, have committed additional investments of P7.4 billion to expand their operations in the Philippines, according to Trade Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual. Yokohama is planning to invest "close to $60 million" to increase its production capacity, while MinebeaMitsumi operates in Batangas, Bataan, and Cebu.
