Frontline workers in Queensland struggle to afford housing due to rising prices and rents.

Frontline workers in Queensland are being priced out of the housing market as prices and rents rise beyond their reach. A report reveals that most nurses, police officers, childcare workers, and teachers can't afford to buy or rent a home in southeast Queensland due to median housing prices. The Property Council of Australia's report, Beyond Reach, shows that single-income critical workers earning $85,000 can't afford to buy a house, while dual-income families with a gross income of $150,000 can't afford to purchase an existing home or house and land.
