BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda has been appointed as the Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, replacing Piyush Goyal who moved to the Lok Sabha as an MP. Nadda will also manage the Chemicals and Fertilizers portfolio in the Cabinet. In the Rajya Sabha, there are 11 other members from the Union Council of Ministers, with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge serving as the Leader of the Opposition.
