Customers are urged not to panic-buy eggs due to bird flu impacting farms in NSW and Victoria. Avian influenza has been detected at a second NSW poultry farm, and seven farms in Victoria, with over 320,000 and 1 million birds to be killed, respectively. Supply-chain disruption is expected, but Australian Eggs boss Rowan McMonnies says consumers will experience at most a minor inconvenience when purchasing eggs.
