Australian department store chain Myer is in talks with Premier Investments, owner of Just Jeans, Jay Jays, and other brands, to potentially merge. If successful, the deal could grant Premier Investments' Chairman, Solomon Lew, a seat on Myer's board. Myer aims to expand its private label and exclusive brands through the merger, which is still in the early stages without a certainty of a transaction.
