Thorpe pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and four walks while striking out five. The White Sox snapped a three-game losing streak with the win, with Korey Lee hitting a solo home run and Nicky Lopez, Andrew Vaughn, Paul DeJong and Lenyn Sosa each driving in one run.
