Prominent New Orleans developer and hotelier Joe Jaeger Jr., 77, died from injuries sustained in a North Shore crash on June 19. Jaeger, president and CEO of MCC Real Estate Group, was known for his ownership of numerous notable buildings and high-end hotels in the city. He also owned blighted properties, such as the Plaza Towers and the dilapidated Naval Base in the Bywater. Details on funeral services have not been released.
