Gardaí are investigating an assault in Dublin city centre that left a 40-year-old man in serious condition at Mater Hospital. The incident occurred on O'Connell St and Cathal Brugha St in the early hours of Sunday morning. Two suspects were arrested near the scene and are being detained at a local Garda station. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and those with camera footage from the area to come forward.
