38-year-old Casco man Robert Stitham died in a car crash involving speed and alcohol on Poland Spring Road.
38-year-old Casco man, Robert Stitham, died after crashing his car into the woods on Poland Spring Road on Saturday afternoon. Stitham failed to negotiate a curve, narrowly missed another vehicle, and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Speed and alcohol were cited as factors in the accident by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office. Naples Fire Department and Casco Fire Department assisted at the scene.
