Woodbury County officials are monitoring potential flooding, asking Correctionville residents to evacuate due to increasing risk. The Iowa DOT closed Highway 31 and 160th in Correctionville due to water over the road, while Copeland Park and Highway 31 south of town are flooded. Sioux City plans to build a levee in the Riverside area. The Correctionville Community Center has been opened for those needing shelter.
