Pakistan showcased its carpet art at the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) regional carpet exhibition in Tehran, alongside other ECO member states' designs. A parallel workshop on old carpet restoration was also held. ECI President Saad S Khan emphasized the shared regional art and history of carpet designs among ECO member countries, including Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan, and Turkmenistan, where Carpet Day is celebrated annually.
