Dubai's Burj Khalifa illuminated with Olympic logo and colors on Olympic Day to honor founder of International Olympic Committee, Baron Pierre de Coubertin, and celebrate the UAE's commitment to advancing the Olympic Movement and fostering sporting excellence. The theme for this year's event was "Let's Move and Celebrate." The Burj Khalifa had previously displayed the Philippine flag for Independence Day.
