Odisha's BJP government has submitted a memorandum to the Centre requesting increased funds for infrastructure development, expansion of Paradip port, establishment of a second AIIMS in Sambalpur, and completion of National Highways projects. Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo presented the memorandum during a meeting of state finance ministers before the Union Budget. The state also seeks support for the implementation of the 'Subhadra' scheme promoting women's welfare, 500,000 housing units under PMAY, and funds for green energy corridor projects.
