Nvidia signs deal to deploy its AI tech in Ooredoo's data centers in five Middle Eastern countries. This marks Nvidia's first large-scale launch in the region amid US curbs on exporting advanced US chips to stop Chinese firms from accessing the newest AI technology through Middle Eastern countries. Ooredoo becomes the first company to provide direct access to Nvidia's AI and graphics processing technology to its clients in Qatar, Algeria, Tunisia, Oman, Kuwait, and the Maldives.
