North-west governors and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are collaborating to host a peace and security summit in Katsina, from June 24 to 25, 2024. The summit, themed "Regional Cooperation for Securing Lives and Livelihoods", aims to address pressing security challenges in the region, including banditry, terrorism, and communal conflicts. It will bring together governors from across the North-west region and key partners to discuss and find solutions to these issues.
