58 MK Party members in South Africa's Parliament to be officially sworn in on June 25 after initial absence.

South Africa's Parliament confirms that Umkhonto Wesizwe (MK) Party members, who initially skipped the swearing-in ceremony, will be officially sworn in on June 25. The 58 elected MK Party members were absent during the first sitting of the National Assembly on June 14. As per the Constitution, before MPs can perform their functions in the Assembly, they must swear or affirm faithfulness to the Republic and obedience to the Constitution.
