4.9-magnitude earthquake strikes Japan's Fukushima prefecture, no tsunami threat or significant damage reported. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported the quake occurred at a depth of 50 km and measured 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in Fukushima. Tremors were felt in neighboring prefectures, but no abnormalities were reported at the Fukushima Daiichi and Fukushima Daini nuclear power plants.
