Jetstar, a low-cost carrier, is significantly growing its New Zealand operations, adding 240,000 new low-fare seats annually and launching two new trans-Tasman routes. This includes new flights between Auckland and Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) and between Christchurch and Cairns. Jetstar will base an additional aircraft in New Zealand and increase capacity on key domestic routes.
