In Islamabad, a car lifting gang killed three of their own members in a shootout with police. Islamabad Police had been tracking the gang's movements for two months using information from Safe City cameras and informants. The gang was targeted at Kashmir Chowk when they opened fire during a police interception, resulting in their own members being killed by crossfire.
