Generation Xers are set to inherit $31 trillion from wealthy individuals by 2033, according to a new report by Wealth-X. Of the 1.2 million individuals globally worth $5 million or more, 40,000 are worth $100 million or more, with most of their wealth going to Gen X. Previous projections favored millennials, but Gen Xers are now seen as the leading beneficiaries of the "Great Wealth Transfer".
