Diamondbacks' catcher Gabriel Moreno placed on 10-day IL with sprained left thumb; Jose Herrera called up from Triple-A as Herrera joins Tucker Barnhart as Arizona's catching combo. Moreno, a Gold Glove winner, was injured after his glove hand was hit by a foul ball. Initial X-rays were negative, and Moreno is hitting .230 with a .659 OPS in 61 games this season.
