A woman found unconscious and bleeding in a New London parking lot at 48 Ocean Avenue on Friday night is in critical condition. Police responded at 10:47 pm and transported her to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital. The New London Police Department is investigating and requesting information or witness accounts at (860) 447-1481 or anonymously through the New London Tips 411 system.
