Suspect arrested after gunfire exchange with RCMP near Carstairs, Alberta. Initially followed by a HAWCS helicopter, the suspect fled from Calgary police and was stopped on the QEII Highway. Police disabled his vehicle with a tire deflation device, leading to an exchange of gunfire, with no injuries reported. The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) is investigating, and both RCMP and CPS are conducting internal reviews.
