Sikorsky Support Services Inc. and Derco Aerospace Inc., subsidiaries of Sikorsky Aircraft, have agreed to pay $70m to settle claims they overcharged the US Navy for spare parts used in training Navy pilots. The subsidiaries allegedly entered an illegal cost-plus-percentage contract, inflating the price of the spare parts by 32%. The settlement resolves a whistleblower suit filed in Wisconsin.
