San Francisco Giants place Yastrzemski, Winn on injured list; recall Matos, Villar from Triple-A.
The San Francisco Giants have placed outfielder Mike Yastrzemski and pitcher Keaton Winn on the injured list due to left oblique strain and right elbow inflammation respectively. In corresponding moves, the team recalled outfielder Luis Matos and third baseman David Villar from Triple-A. Matos, who had a strong stint in Triple-A Sacramento, is expected to see more playing time as Yastrzemski recovers.
