An Ogdensburg police officer is in stable condition after an unintentional discharge of a firearm at the police department on June 20th. The officer was shot during a late-night incident and is being treated at a Syracuse-area hospital. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office is conducting an impartial investigation into the matter. Seven other officers involved in the incident have been placed on administrative leave.
