Delhi Police dispersed BJP-led water shortage protest with water cannon during heat wave in capital.
In response to a water shortage protest by the BJP in Delhi, the Delhi Police used a water cannon to disperse the crowd. The demonstration, led by former South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri, occurred outside an Okhla Delhi Jal Board office. Delhi is experiencing a severe water deficit as a result of the ongoing heat wave. The BJP and AAP continue to blame each other for the water crisis situation.
