Deer breaks into Ottawa basement apartment, evades police. A deer entered a basement apartment in Ottawa's west end on Thursday, refusing to leave when police arrived. After officers arrived at the scene, the deer escaped out the window it came in and has remained at large. The deer is described as having reddish-brown coloured hair, 4' tall, lean build, and not wearing clothes.
