24-year-old Nigerian footballer Rasheedat Ajibade has been named Atletico Madrid's Women's Player of the Season. Ajibade scored 10 goals and provided eight assists for the team during the 2023/24 season, including the crucial goal against Villarreal which secured their spot in the UEFA Women's Champions League preliminary round. Ajibade is also set to represent Nigeria at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
