15-year-old Bardia Shojaeifard, who stabbed Alfie Lewis, 15, to death in Leeds last November, has been named and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 13 years. Shojaeifard claimed self-defense but was found guilty by a jury. The judge lifted reporting restrictions preventing Shojaeifard from being identified in order to aid the debate on knife crime among young people.
