27-year-old Australian truck driver Timothy Russell led police on a dangerous cross-border chase through the Gold Coast and into Northern NSW, allegedly damaging multiple vehicles and driving recklessly. Police deployed a tire deflation device before apprehending Russell after a crash. He faces eight charges, including drink driving, wilful damage, and driving without a license.
